Albion Summer Moose" I photographed this moose as he was resting in the shade at Albion Basin in the Wasatch Mountains. He was quite content to sit there and watch as I toted around my big 400mm 2.8 Nikon lens. I would swear he was posing for me. "Aspen Impression" Deep in the Fishlake National Forest there lies a stand of aspens so large that it is claimed to be the largest single biological organism.
Termed the Heart os Aspen this grove is a wondrous dense forest that glows with color in the fall season. I always struggles with the enormous size of the forest

There is nothing more inspirational than to stand at the precipice of the Grand Canyon as the rays of the setting sun cascade through the layers of erosion and time.
